PSPSafe: Exploring molecular tools to address the increasing risk of Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning in Ireland
 

PSPSafe is a four year DAFM funded project. It began in November 2021 and will continue until 2025. It is a multidisciplinary collaboration with The Marine Institute, Atlantic Technological University, Galway and University College Dublin.

Marine Institute

Marine Institute

The Marine Institute is the State agency responsible for marine research, technology development and innovation in Ireland.

They carry out environmental, fisheries, and aquaculture surveys and monitoring programmes to meet Ireland’s national and international legal requirements. They provide scientific and technical advice to Government to help inform policy and to support the sustainable development of Ireland’s marine resource.
